1953 Bowman Color Baseball - # 86 Harry "Suitcase" Simpson, of, Cleveland Indians
The 1953 Bowman Baseball Color Card Set was Bowman's big card response to the Topps 1952 set from the previous year.
The 160 cards in the set are some of the most beautiful baseball cards ever produced.
The card fronts contain only a state-of-the-art color photograph of the player and no words and was the first post-war issue to have multi-player cards
High # 129 to # 160 were issued in smaller quantities and are more expensive/rare
Nicknamed "Suitcase", it is said it has to do with the fact that he has large feet.  I always thought it was due to the fact that he was traded so often??
Batted .266 with 10 HRs and 65 RBIs in 1952
