This listing is for a San Francisco 49ers NFL Promo doll. He was made in 1960 as a point-of-sale display and given to a limited number of the manufacturer’s largest retailers, they were never sold. They’re extremely limited and have gone up dramatically in the past several years. He stands 13 inches tall and is hollow inside and thus extremely fragile. 14 different NFL teams were made, and one price guides says that there are less then 50 total. This number is low as I know of 50 personally, own 2 and have sold 5. I also have a Los Angeles Rams that is listed on this very same site. This 49er Promo Doll has been restored and is absolutely dazzling. He displays very nicely, looks shiny and new, and would be the centerpiece of any collection.
